GOOD LUCK YOU TWO.
I truly hope the two of you can be happy forever.
Welcome to our family Erin, I have seen the smile you can create
on my sons face and I've seen you smile back with love to him.
That alone makes me so happy for both of you.
All a parent ever wants is for their son or daughter to be happy
and the two of you seem to do just that for each other.

With all my Love..........DAD

I truly hate to see this. I've found SMF about two years ago and liked it so well I convinced my high school alumni association to use it for their website. I'm just getting ready to upgrade to 2.0 RC2, but now wonder if I should and then, the thought of having to tell my alumni that the perfect forum solution I choose is about to die and we need to switch just makes my blood boil!

I also think this may be the reason why so many mods are not being updated to 2.0 RC2. The authors are afraid to commit to something that could fail.

I don't know anyone involved but has anyone come to the conclusion that perhaps it may not be about power, but about money; and that the usurper is just waiting to be offered cold, hard, cash to step down? Has anyone considered this approach? Depending on how much she wanted, if indeed this is the case, it may be THE solution to regaining the path intended for SMF.

After all the corporate greed we have witnessed this decade, it wouldn't surprise me at all if this isn't the case. Since this all seems like more like fiction, than truth, it would be great if she believed the philosophy that the character Spock from Star Trek did; "The needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few."

I sincerely hope it can be resolved because it is truly a wonderful application.

I havent logged into wow in almost a month myself. I was having fun with the new cross-realms LFG - then started getting crappy groups. I played LoTRO for a while too - it was very enjoyable to begin, but by level 20ish it started to feel like the wow-grind again and I lost interested. I understand what you are saying - there needs to be a revolution in MMORPGs - something to replace the repeat content and grinds - like deep character development and independent story lines...

So far any mmo that has promised that has been horribly disappointing.

AoC is now a swear word in my vocabulary.
