Well, we’ve been breezing through content in our guild Maximum Prestige and we’ve cleared through Black Temple relatively quickly leaving us with attempts on the final boss Illidan for two nights and tonight he finally died!

Have to admit, it was pretty cool seeing him die finally and even better that our guild doesn’t fail so we didn’t spend weeks attempting him. As an added bonus I picked up my Tier 6 chest piece (Shroud of Absolution)!

The fight overall doesn’t seem overly difficult with the exception of maybe the second phase where the healers are really needed to be extremely on the ball and keep the raid up.

This was my first trip through Black Temple as I had backed off of raiding at the time Erin was raiding Black Temple and all that with some of our last guild that had transferred to Chromaggus. I have to admit, I found Black Temple pretty easy going. The bosses are all fairly easy to grasp so as long as you don’t have a group full of fail players it’s not that bad.

Now we do some content farming and start to tackle the last raid in the current version of World of Warcraft called the Sunwell. I’d love for us to down one of the Sunwell bosses before another guild on our server. However, we may still be slightly undergeared so we’ll need to spend time raiding Black Temple and Mount Hyjal still to gear more people up in addition to our constant ZA bear runs (Erin got hers last night so we both have an Amani War bear mount now).
