Yay! Christmas shopping money!

After weeks of worry about just how much I’d get dinged for when my end of lease inspection came in, it finally arrived today. Instead of bad news it was bearing good news!

Tires were one of my main concerns as I thought for sure there was too much tread wear on them but I literally JUST made it for one tire and was 1mm over the on the other three.

In addition to the tires, there were a few decent size scratches (yay jerks in parking lots!) but the only thing I ended up getting charged for was a cracked hub cap which cost me a whopping $45.

When I got the envelope I braced for the worst, thinking I’d get dinged for two thousand or something but the paper inside the envelope looked like a cheque! As I peered inside, it was a cheque for almost $700!

Turns out I had paid a security deposit of $750 when I first got the car…and they were sending me it back minus the small fee I was charged!

What a nice gift from Hyundai!
