Month in Review: April 2010
April was another kind of bland month with nothing overly special going on which I guess can be classified as good since nothing negative happened!
Long weekend at the beginning of the month I spent visiting family which is always nice but I spent the weekend in significant pain due to two very large uric acid kidney stones. Yes, it sucked. I got some medication for it which happened to trigger a gout attack later in the month. So as I get older, my body wants to remind me of that fact and that I need to take better care of myself.
Speaking of taking better care of myself, I attempted a short lived diet and while I dropped 12-15 pounds fairly quickly (as I usually do when I diet) it takes a lot of willpower and I opted to embrace the world of the fat and give up.
Towards the end of April I got bored of raiding the same shit in WoW (aka all of Icecrown Citadel), I decided to try a trial of Fallen Earth and was actually quite impressed. A little rough around the edges and sort of choppy on my aging computer but it was a fun game.
Other than that, a pretty satisfying month for my work on Home Office Pro 2 with lots done even knocking off some significant issues like time zones.
