Unexpected Expenses Suck
Just when you think you get things under control you get smacked with some unexpected expense like a car repair or repairs for your home and then the cycle continues. Needless to say, that really sucks…and it’s been happening non stop since I moved.
Whether it’s unexpected dog bills ($150 in food when I wasn’t expecting it followed by a $200 vet annual shots), to an unexpected set up fee for cable ($200 more to Rogers!), to an unexpected fedex bill for Yourasoft ($80), to a suddenly broken LCD monitor (it stopped working last night ugh and will cost $120 to replace it).
On top of that Erins mom is coming down and they have been planning a trip to Niagara Falls that I’ll need to fund, then another vet appointment coming up, this time for Bella. All of that and I still owe my mom $900 for last months rent I had to borrow.
Being a single income family sure blows ass, it may be time to pick up some freelance work or maybe Erin can do something on the side – would be nice.
