Well here we are yet again, a new attempt at maintaining a page that I can try to keep semi-updated!

My name is Jeff Lewis and I’m a programmer currently programming heavily in PHP/JavaScript/AJAX for a company called Platinum Synergy working on Home Office Pro.

Previously, I was self employed for a few years in business with my friend Joseph Fung at Lewis Media and we also owned a second business in another partnership at On My Block.

During my time of self employment and before, I started the Simple Machines project (along with Joseph) and we maintained that for several years. Before SMF, I was a project manager at YaBB as well before making the jump to the PHP based forum world.

I don’t really miss the politics and closed door stuff anymore on the open source projects I used to work on but do on occasion miss coding something and get the itch to hop back into something now and again. I usually just don’t feel like dealing with the b.s. that accompanies it.

So in the meantime I kill my free time playing MMOs. I have tried all kinds of MMOs over time with the biggest three time sinks for me being Ultima Online, City of Heroes, and currently World of Warcraft.
